Azrael has obtained a basic understanding of anatomy by learning from books. Studying the skeleton and especially skulls, they've started to get a grasp of human the human body.

Azrael has a few exercises they like to do to expand their horizons:
Studying anatomy via a digital book, drawing from references granted in the book, often drawing literally from the book. To better understand the shapes necessary to draw humans.Â
Drawing quick gesture drawings, attempting to capture the motion of the body to recreate an image that's taken from a reference website, often done in 1 or 2 minutes per figure.
Drawing from life. Faces, tables, anything you can think of. Helping to understand and translate objects in to shapes on the page
These exercises are done with the intent of being able to improve Azrael's art, and make them able to create things that align more closely to their imagination. Expanding their horizon's slowly.Â
